A yummy maida free cake recipe which tastes better then the conventional maida recipe and comes with more protein and calcium. Adults can reduce the amount of sugar to half.
1/2 cup ragi flour
1/2 cup milk powder (dairy whitener)
1 and 1/2 sachets amul pro powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil/amul ghee
2-3 table spoon sugar
1/2 sachet nescafe coffee
1 tablespoon corn flour or custard powder
1/4 cup milk
Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer or and electric hand mixer on high speed for 6-8 minutes
Grease an 8 inch microwave safe pan/bowl with oil and pour the mixture.
Microwave wave without lid for 6-7 mins
Check with knife. If it comes clear your cake is ready
Ideal for kids. This cake is packed with protein, calcium and other nutrients. Though high in sugar.
